You will notice that I don't have any references for kindergarten, this is because these preschool years should be filled with fun and play.  Bake together, draw together, take long nature walks together, PLAY!  Of course I just wrote a kindergarten book though didn't I?  My book addresses the parent as the kindergartener as much as the child.  These years should be filled with wonder and even though my kindergarten book has optional lesson plans, they are very loose and reflect my attitude of baking together, playing and drawing.  Have fun with kindergarten!  You will never get those years back!
  The Waldorf method does not promote early acedemics, slow down, take your time and don't listen to society!  Remember that just because something is the societal "norm" that does not make it "normal."
